About IHLAEF
Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Foundation (IHLAEF) is dedicated to mentoring future hotel employees and providing continuing education for current hospitality industry employees. The Foundation also assists industry employees with professional certification and provides scholarships and resource materials to schools, teaching centers and individuals to ensure a successful career in the hospitality industry.
WHAT IS IHLAEF?
The Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Foundation (IHLAEF) is the not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) educational arm of the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association (IHLA). Incorporated in 1992, IHLAEF has been a primary source of scholarship assistance for Illinois college students pursuing degrees in hospitality management throughout the country.
IHLAEF is dedicated to mentoring future hotel employees and providing continuing education for current hospitality industry employees. IHLAEF also assists industry employees with professional certification and provides scholarships and resource materials to schools, teaching centers and individuals to ensure a successful career in the hospitality industry. IHLAEF currently maintains assets of over $ 300,000 and distributes investment earnings to support its ongoing scholarship and educational programs.
